MAIN PURPOSE OF TINPLATE |
Since the introduction as a packaging
material for the processed foods, tinplate has played an important role
in the packaging industry for more than 100 years. Today, a variety of packaging
materials have been developed and commercialized.
However, with its attractive and advantageous characteristics, it is still
the major source for the food packaging materials and popular in numerous
applications such as motor oil cans, electrical parts, dry battery cells
and toys. |
